Here is a venus report using the 80mm refractor under a transparent sky.
AL was very faint and having a light concentrated on the equatorial and temperate zones essentially.
This is an interesting characteristic of the light observed. The limb at the crescent was particularly bright as mentionned.
Also the dark markings located on DS on the equatorial zone near the terminator.
