Hi all,here's a thermal image of Venus from this morning using the 1000-1020nm band and a comparison animation with a topo reference image.
Seeing was good for this session and so more details can be seen,however there were persistent local clouds that caused issues with varying transparency.
Aphrodite can be clearly seen on the rising limb at right along with some topo features in the northern hemisphere,however as seen in previous images the southern hemisphere features are obscured.

The Phase is still quite small at around 17%, but the terminator shading could be seen on the disk.
