Summary

STB Oval 'BA' is located at II=312.5

STBのマージした白斑'BA'がII=312.2度に観測されました。前端部には短いSTBsと淡いSTBnが前方に伸びています。後端部にはSTBが40度ほど濃く見えています。STBsに新たな小さな白斑が2個観測され(I=324,329)、STBの南縁が凸凹になっています。

SEB

SEBは濃いSEBsと明るくなったSEBZに活動が分かれています。SEBZはやや明るくなっており、II=290度から後方にはSEBcに細いベルトが大赤斑前方まで伸びています。

EZs DS and WS

EZsに見られているGWSはII=260度付近にあり、この日はいくつかの白斑群に分裂しているように見えます。このGWSの前方には暗部があり、後方には白斑と暗斑が入り乱れた構造が続いています。

NEB has a Rifted Region which is 100 degrees long.

II=280付近に見られる青暗いPlateuが暗斑に分かれて見えています。この北側のNEBのRiftの活動が活発で、白斑に分離して見えています。このRiftはII=220度からII=320度まで100度の長さがあります。

NNTB BAR

NNTBのBARはII=353から8度まで、長さが15度あります。赤味の強い模様で、緯度はNNTBnです。

Seeing initially poor-fair (4-5), 
but improved later excellent (8-9.)
Excellent seeing occured after clouds cleared. 

Transparency initially very varibale, with
frequent low clouds (cloud - 5.0mag.) Improved later.

Wind SW (5-10mph.) Light -moderate dew.

Seeing initially poor-fair (4-5),

Excellent seeing occured after clouds cleared. 

Transparency initially very varibale, with
frequent low clouds (cloud - 5.0mag.) Improved later.

Wind SW (5-10mph.) Light -moderate dew.

Observation comments:

Initially fair seeing, gave reasonable views, but later in the session great amounts of detail was observed. The GRS was well defined, and i think noticeabley darker than 1999. At its p. edge, it appeared rather eye shaped, due to the short sector of South Tropical Band extending down the STrZ p. the spot. The sector appeared tp be faintly connected to the South rim of the GRS, which appeared rather blue/grey coloured. Also, where the spot was separated from the SEBs, this region appeared bright at the n.p. section of the RSH. The GRS itself internally, was darker at its centre, with the Northern section of the spot lighter.

The SEB p. the GRS was bisected by a bright mid-SEB zone, which is much more narrow, than at other longitudes. F. the GRS it appeared turbulent, but not with prominent post GRS turbulence. Only a few birght spots were observed. The SEBs was dark, the the very noticable accumulation of dark material on the f. edge of the GRS. The SEBs in general also appeared turbulent. A faint STB was easily observed,and a small STBn spot was also observed. DS#1 seen later as it rotated into view.

The SSTB faded sector was observed earlier in the session. Later a small SSTB oval, and another SSTB faded area was observed immediatly following the oval. A bright S3TZ was also observed. A dark oblong spot was visible in the SSTB almost directly South of the GRS.

The EZ appeared rather in active, aside from one prominent NEBs Plateau/projection visible. A small, similar Plateau was observed following the main one. These appeared very dark blue. Mid-NEB rift observed. NEBn active, was detached areas (possibly projections into the NTrZ.)

NTB dark, with hints of fine details, to intricate to sketch. It appeared rather faded at the CM around 03:50 UT. Faint dark areas seen in high northern latitudes (N4TB area.)

SEBsは濃く、SEBは明るくなっている。SEBnは細く見えている。
EZsの左(I=200)に暗斑。
NEBsのCM付近のI=207度に非常に濃い暗部が目立つ。
NEB中央を長いRiftが流れている。
NTBsのCM付近のI=237度にはNTC-Cの暗斑。

STBの右からSTB Oval 'BA'が見えてきた。
NEBのRiftは長く目立つ。
NNNTZに明らかな白斑がある。

STBの'BA'がCMに近づいてきた。
SEBsは暗斑の連鎖のように見える。
EZsは小さな白斑が連なっている。
NEBのRiftはまだ後方まで続いている。
