かねてより進めておりました自作鏡D150mmＦ５搭載のトラス式ニュートンが完成し
ました（両端はやはり寸胴鍋です）。主鏡セルはアルミのＬ型アングルを組み合わせ
たオリジナルで、斜鏡スパイダーは例の0.3mm超薄型です。鏡面精度は満足のいくも
ので、土星のカッシニもきれいに見えております。本来惑星用ではありませんが、今
回はこの機材での試撮です。なにぶんシーイングが悪いのでその分差し引いて下さ
い。それにしても小さいのでとり回しが楽でチョット見ぃにはよろしおす。

already. I failed to see the feature visually.




Hi all,


As the weather has been so dreadful here this week, i
decided to go back and re-work my best Saturn image,
from Christmas Eve 02', one week after Saturn
oppostion. The result is attached. The information is
as follows:

11" (28cm) SCT @ f/31.4 (0.23"/pixel.)
SBIG ST-5c camera.

Integrated Light (no IR rejection): ~160 x 0.35secs.
Red + IR rejection: ~30 x 0.60secs
Green + IR rejection: ~ 30 x 0.50secs
Blue + IR rejection: ~20 x 0.90secs

The seeing was good-excellent (pickering 6-10.) The
bright storm discovered by Ed Grafton two nights
earlier is present in the STrZ.

Hopefully the rain + 40mph winds will soon depart!.
