昨日に比べシーイングが悪い。高度が上がるのに改善するどころか、大きく乱れることも起こり出した。そのうち薄雲が出てきて透明度までだめになってきたので撤収。

土星本体の他に、衛星も各自強調。（左：レア　右：テティス）
土星本体上の白斑は、ノイズによるものと思われます。

関東は、なかなか良いシーイングに恵まれず連続観測が出来にくいのが残念です。
この日はジェット気流図より、好シーイングを予測し準備しました。
久々の7/10クラスのシーイングでした。 その分？透明度は、かなり低かったです。

I made an observation of Saturn this morning (November 9, 2004 at 06:40 U.T.) at which time the planet revealed much detail considering the average seeing conditions (4-6/10, but with brief moments of 7-8/10). Especially notable was the presence of a white oval (or bay) along the southern border of the South Equatorial Belt (SEB). The SEB was very prominent (3/10) and appeared bisected over it's following half. The South Temperate Belt was thin and dull (5/10). The South Polar Region (SPR) was dusky to dark (3-4/10) with a dark (3/10) center over the pole. A pastel green collar was visible surrounding the SPR. Portions of the Encke Minima was visible during moments of steady seeing with Ring A (4/10). Ring B appeared bright over it's outer half and dusky to dull (4-5/10) over it's inner half. Ring C (Crepe) appeared dusky (4/10) and diffuse.
