Tiziano Olivetti has recently sent the map of Jupiter, that I have realized
by using your images (olivetti, Go, Einaga). I must specify that really
Gianluigi Adamoli is the Italian coordinator of Jupiter Program and I am
helping him in the measurements of the digital images (I use the software
Jupos-Dos and WinJupos; see
http://www.grischa-hahn.homepage.t-online.de/astro/index.htm).

I am 42 years old and I observe, from Italy, with a Celestron C11 and a
refractor APO D150 f/10; I use, for the images of mine, webcams Vesta and
TouCam Pro I. My mount is a Losmandy GM11. I am also waiting the arrival of
my first astronomical CCD: Starlight Xpress SXV M7.

In January I did an animated GIF of Jupiter, composing three maps from
several images, recorded between 2005-03-31 and 2005-04-14 (I used reports
from: Olivetti, Di Sciullo, Lazzarotti, Mancini, Fattinanzi, Zanelli,
Sellini). Here you can appreciate, for example, the quick prograding motion
of SSTB, the prograding motion of the ovals in SSTB, the retrograding
motion of SEBs, caused by the local jet-stream.
