(reported by 5 observers)

In the image of Einaga, the shape of Argyre (30W,-50) was not clear.
As for surroundings in the pole, the entire seems to be covered with
the dust veil . The appearance that changes especially is not admitted
though the vicinity of Eylsium (2105W,+30) is seen in the northern
hemisphere.(reported by 5 observers)

Usual processing of images try to get rid of the sky background. This has for result the lost of information near the duller martian terminator. I have then made two additional processing without darkening of the sky background, and now the delicate evening limb hazes can be found over the terminator :-)
Also just a try with the IR 1000 filter (poor result).

Seeing was excellent this morning, and allowed some further fine details to be seen surpising for an angular diameter of 10".
Trivium Charontis is already resolved into two small dots, not usually seen so early. I also include a small animation showing the rotation during the 50min imaging session.
Not much in the way of cloud activity, though some haze over Hellas on the limb.

Here is two pictures of Mars taken at sunrise. Seeing was pretty good for the IR image. Many details were visible on the 10" diameter Red Planet through my Zeiss-Baader binoviewer. Lots of delicate features were incredibely resolved by the Celestron 14 at 400x, colors in the deserts were amazing and the South polar cap thin. One of my best observations of Mars...
