解説（安達）
柚木氏の画像ではニクス・オリンピカ(Nix Olympica;125W,+20)とアスクラ
エウス(Ascraeus;105w,+20)の２つの山が黒い点になって観測されている。こ
れらの山の様子は池村氏が良くとらえている。北極には白い雲が見られる。こ
の雲は西経０°付近で顕著だ。Ralf Vandeberghの画像からは、南極冠と欠け
際の間に白雲の拡がっている様子がはっきりと記録されている。

Two mountains of Nix Olympica(125W,+20) and Ascraeus (105W,+20) become
dark spot and it is observed in the image of Yunoki. Ikemura catches
the appearance of these mountains well. A white cloud is seen in the
North Pole. This cloud is remarkable in the west longitude about 0°.
The appearance where white clouds have extended between the South Poler
Cap and the lack side is clearly recorded from the image of Ralf
Vandebergh.(reported by 12 observers)

ソリス付近を撮像したく、やや高度が低いが早めから撮像する。
高度が十分でないためSeeingは良くない。ガスっていて透明度も良くない。一セットを撮像後急速に厚い雲に覆われてしまったが、何とか一セット撮像できたのは幸運。2003年に比べオリンポスモンスの黒さ以外はほとんど変わらないように見える。
リサイズし処理し直しました。今朝、ATKの３色合成を様々試し何となく理解出来てきました。ただ、処理枚数が増えると時間的に余裕がなさそうですが。

北極が白く輝いて見えた。
Olumpicaが暗い斑点として画像に写っている。
It seemed that the North Pole surrounding shone in white with the unassisted eye. Olumpica appears to the image as a dark macula.

I am looking for the cause that the right side of
the Mars image becomes double now.
It is thought that it is a resonance of the equator
motor of the trestle of the telescope.
It is seen that the Mt. Olympia is a bee like ..piercing...

望遠鏡の架台のモーターの共振ではないかと思っています。
オリンピア山が蜂に刺された痕のように見えています。

Visual notes:
Hellas was white at visual observation (300x) but without exeptional brightness.
NPR obviously bluish at 300x observed against a blue daylight sky.
A set of 3 high contrast images taken in near infra-red light on 13 Aug.

the seventh morning in a row of observations. Poor at the begining but ended good before the clouds arrived. Note the small spot like feature in southern Hellas. Syrtis major shows some of its projections, and Boreo Syrtis is seen near the northern edge.
In Blue, some weak haze is present over Libya, along with the usual Hellas mist. Syrtis major looks more narrow also.
14" (35cm) Celestron SCT @ f/39.5. Lumenera LU075M CCD camera.
Seeing initally poor-fair (p3-4) later good (p6-8.)
Transparency excellent (6.0mag) clouds late.No wind. Heavy dew.
Alt=48-50 degs.

Here are some Mars images from this morning. Dense fog affected the contrast somewhat but I prefer a bit lighter contrast anyways.
Seeing conditions were poor to fair with dense fog and heavy dew.
