解説（安達）
　今日もアキダリウム(Mare Acidarium;30W,+50)には、白雲が目立っている。
アウロラエ(Aurorae Sinus;50W,-10)付近は朝霧に覆われている。赤道近くに
は、淡い雲が拡がってきたようだ。ペリエの画像で、この様子が確認できる。

White clouds are remarkable in Mare Acidarium (30W,+50) today. The
vicinity of Aurorae Sinus (50W,-10) is covered with the morning mist.
A light cloud seems to have extended to the vicinity of the equator.
This appearance can be confirmed by the image of  Christophe Pellier.

コメント：晴れの予報が出ていたので撮像を開始したが、透明度が悪い上に、雲に阻まれてしまった。
          ２０時（UT)前になって、雲が取れてきた。特に変化は見られない。南極冠（SPC)の周りが
          環状に明るい。

曇る直前にまずまずのシーイング（ＩＲcut：6/10）になりました。

晴天の割には、モニター上の画像が妙に暗かった。原因は、主鏡の結露。おまけにシー
ングも悪く、シャープな画像がなかなか得られない。

やっと晴天が続くようになりました。
火星の高度も高く模様の詳細も良く写るようになりました。
撮像の合間に、眼視観測を楽しんでおりますが
昔のようには見えなくなってきました。
それでもサバ人の湾付近の模様を確認しながら
カメラでも良く写るようになってきたと感心しています。
そして、ガタガタの望遠鏡で楽しく観測しています。

Mars on Aug 31,IRsGB and blue light image.Taken in poor seeing conditions with some fair moments.
Transparance was good though.
(10 inch Newton & ATK-1HS with color filters at f/60  pixel res: 0.08´´/p ).


Here is an animation of the Martian roatation showing Olympus Mons moving toward the
terminator.Started as a white spot near the limb,its shadow grows bigger and the appearance of
the vulcano changes into a dark spot at the terminator.

The animation is made of images taken over 3 days, Aug 28-29 and 31 using my 10 inch Newton
and a Philips ToUcam PCVC750k at f/60.The seeing was mostly fair.


Here is a set of near infra-red ToUcam images from Aug 31,in spite of the reasonable poor seeing,the ToUcam images seemed well.
Note the very small Foelix near Solis Lacus.I have attached a part of the Mario Frassati General Mars map.

A Mars image from this morning is attached.
I ventured out 2 hours earlier to catch a few more features
to the East of Solis Lacus etc...

Mars was ten degrees lower and seeing was poor. Transparency
was poor too.

Orion Optics 245mm f/6.3 Newt + 5x Powermate projected to
7.6x = f/48.  0.13 arcsecs/pixel (7.4 micron pixels).
Lumenera LU 075M + Red & Blue filters.
Transparency good. Temp + 16 C.  Slight dew

Captured/converted with Streampix/Virtual Dub.
Processed with Registax 3/Maxim DL/PSPro 8.
