A very remarkable dust storm was generated. It is dust storm seen
the shape of "V" of the alphabet. The top is seen bright spot though
it will move to the south in the future. It is likely to extend from
dividing into two in two directions. The first report to us was P.
Clay Sherrod. The record the 17th is P. Clay Sherrod, and wonderful
activity. It is being recorded by the observer of Mr. who dusts dust

あるようで、詳細は判らない。

Dr. P. Clay Sherrod (410mm SC : ToUcam PRO)
Attached is a sequence over two hours in unsteady seeing; the newly developed "V-shaped"
dust storm in CHRYSE is well seen in this series of four images, CM 41 through 70. The
feature has greatly developed overnight into a large and bright cloud and likely will be
spreading quickly in the next few days. It appears that the cloud is sheared or separated
by regional topography to the south.

A new image clearly showing the beautiful and intense yellow dust cloud in southern Chryse

Seeing: very poor (surprised it came out this good!)

Here are some images from last night. Again poor to fair seeing.
Note the dense evening mist over Libya. Also the Chryse dust cloud can just be seen in the images at the morning limb appearing brilliant.

14" (35cm) Celestron SCT @ f/39.5.
Lumenera LU075M CCD camera.

Seeing again fair to poor (Pickering 5-3.)
Transparency very good (5.0mag) scatt high clouds.
Wind SE (5-10mph.) Moderate dew.

I can't keep up with my data, this is one of the latest showing the
duststorm on the limb, seeing was very poor with hard wind regretly we won't
see this area anymore for a while, btw I have some (not a whole lot) dust
evidence south of Niliacus on the 16th Chris, results will follow later in
the week
