comment:アイピースで見ていると
シーイングは5/10だったが、撮影開始するとシーイングは
がくんと落ちた。南極周辺の赤さとは対照的にその北側は微かに水色になっている。

At the time this was taken, seeing appeared to be improving since the initial
star test. Thus it may have been slightly better than 6/10. Colors seem to be
intensifying since earlier this month.

Here is an image from last night.
Odd conditions with but a very brief period of good seeing
while it was mostly poor to fair. No spots were seen.

Hi all, here is a full-wavelenght set of images taken on a very good night. And about seeing conditions, I must insist on the fact that the polar jetstream was present over northern France (although not too strong) ! It's not the first time that I (or others) witness a good seeing in such conditions and this is completely contradictory from the classical belief that the jetstream brings poor seeing. Another example will be my images on the following night (feb. 28th) that are my best so far. On a technical note, I'm making finally a return to the 10 fps setting with these images.
