Hello everyone,
Chris Go has pointed out that oval BA now appears quite reddish.  Attached
are his and other images showing this. As Christophe Pellier has suggested,
the colour is presumably due to the same short-wave-absorbing haze that
gives the colour to the Great Red Spot (and to Little Red Spots in the
NNTZ), as these are all stable anticyclones.
As oval BA is the only remaining great oval in the South Temperate region,
it will indeed be interesting to see if it becomes pemanently reddish.

Also in these images, note reddish colour in the NEB (a late effect of the
NEB expansion event in 2004) and the NNTB (unusually strong for this belt;
only in this longitude sector).
