Una ripresa di ieri sera in condizioni interessanti,seeing molto variabile,con picchi di qualche secondo di immagini piuttosto buone intervallati da lunghi periodi di seeing scarsino.
Somma di 1300 su 2400 frames con iris e correzione colori con photoshop.

Here are some images from Febr 01,obtained in fair seeing conditions.
The color image of the globe is a true RGB one showing the colors of the different cloudbelts in the
current situation.The active spots currently are not in view at this time.
10 inch Newtonian & ATK-1HS @ f/30---RGB)

On my Febr 01 image,I pointed out some interesting vertical structures,different of direction(or/of rotation)
within different areas.Most obvious are they on the northern edge of the South polar Region
left the orignial image,and right is arrowed what is meant.

I found 2 small white spots in the mid-SEB zone in images from my session Febr 01,with 2 minutes time difference.
The rotation of the spots is in this short time difference only very small,but noticable.
The 2 images used for the GIF,actually meant as test-images at the begin of the session,are taken at
23:10 and 23:12 UTC

To the observers

I measured a CM3 of approximately 70/72 for both spots (considered as a pair)

23:10: CM1=238.5
CM2=299.6
CM3=72.1

23:12: CM1=239.7
CM2=300.8
CM3=73.2

best regards
Ralf Vandebergh
