If any of you has a night of good seeing, keep a special eye on the STrZ region of Saturn.
It might be possible that we can track the very weak remnants of the big storm from early 2006.
I captured myself a feature in images on November 30, 2006 (current apparition),see attachment.
I suspect this is the storm remnant,as mostly new STrZ spots are much more concentrated.
If so, this will mean with the Nov 30 images, we have tracked the storm now already for 10 months,
and into the new apparition!
Tracking the remnant (if we can call it a remnant) can learn us or whether the spot remains visible
all the time until a new outburst, or it totally dissapears.

一昨日やっとリフォームが終わりました。昨日二階のベランダにアトラクスを設置して、極軸を追い込むテスト撮像での画像です。極軸は何とか使い物になるまで一応追い込みました。光軸調整はまだ追い込みが出来ていません。シーイングが悪く、久しぶりの撮像で少し戸惑ってしまいました。ベランダが広くなったので取り回しが大変楽になりました。ベランダは重量鉄骨で新たに作ってもらったので、以前よりはるかにしっかりしたものになり振動もほとんど感じません。ベランダの柵も低くしたため、西空低空まで追えそうです。
スライディングルーフも完成しました。アスコの２６㎝は流石に各ブロックが重く、１人では無理ですから、工務店の社長に手伝ってもらい組み立てました。JPや、アトラクスなどとは全く別次元の物で、取り回しに慣れる迄はまだ時間がかかると感じました。先程鏡を取り付け極軸の追い込みをしています。光軸調整等まだまだやることが多く残されています。電動接眼部の取り付けやロープロフィール化、加えて斜鏡もまだ６５㎜のままで、惑星専用機にするためにはまだまだかなり時間がかかりそうです。しかし、観測所が完成したので準備は楽ですから、観測効率は上がりそうでとてもうれしく思います。望遠鏡をお譲り下さった伊藤さんにはどんなにお礼を言っても足りません。スライディングルーフは設置した場所的に低空は無理なので、２０㎝、２６㎝を適宜使い分けて観測に励みたいと思っています。
