Thank you for all of your excellent images of the planets. I always look forward in reviewing them.
I made an observation of Saturn on January 14,2007 at 04:00 U.T. I noted detail over the globe and rings,especially when the seeing steadied.

Seeing (1-10): 5,Antoniadi (I-V): III
Transparency (1-6): 3 (Intermittent clouds)
Notes:
South Polar Region (SPR): Appeared dusky to dull (4-5/10) with a central dusky (4/10) cap (or pole).
The SPR exhibited a light tan to brown color (greenish tint towards the northern border).
South Temperate Zone (STZ): Appeared shaded (6/10),but no other detail noted within. It displayed a light rose color to my eyes.
South Temperate Belt (STB): Appeared dusky (4/10) and thin.The STB appeared a light tan to brownish color.
South Tropical Zone (STrZ): Appeared shaded to bright (6-7/10) and a light yellow-mustard color.
South Equatorial Belt (SEB): Appeared divided (north (SEB-N,3-4/10) and south (SEB-S,3-4/10) components) by a bright (7/10) and thin SEB zone.
Two dark (3/10) condensations were noted over the northern border of the SEB-N on either side of the CM.
Equatorial Zone (EZ): Appeared bright (7/10) and pastel yellow. No other detail noted within.
Crepe Ring (C) on Globe : Appeared dull (5/10) and diffuse.
North Tropical Zone (NTrZ): Appeared shaded to bright (6-7/10) and light brown in color.
North Temperate Belt (NTB): Appeared dull (5/10) and tan in color.
North Polar Region (NPR): Appeared dusky to dark (3-4/10) and dark brown in color.
Ring A: Appeared dull (5/10),but no other detail visible within.
Ring B: Inner portion appeared dusky to dull (4-5/10) and the outer portion bright (7/10).
Ring C (Crepe): Appeared dull (5/10) and diffuse.

この日、やっと接眼部にJIM'sのEV-1フォーカサーを取り付けた。電動化出来たのでピント合わせが手元で出来るため、随分操作性が向上した。ただ、モーターのスピードがやや速すぎる。鏡筒にドリルで取り付け穴をあけることになるため、光学系を全部取り外し、ついでに清掃もした。光軸も合わせたのだが、撮像当初はシーイングが悪かった。高度が上がるにつれて良くなっていったが、最後まで細かな振動が付きまとっていた。

コメント：ＰＣのＨＤＤドライブの調子が悪くなって、観測データが一部無くなってしまった。
それに伴い、ＰＣまで調子が悪くなってしまい、遂にはＵＳＢポートが死んでしまった。
新しいハードを購入し、復旧作業をやっと一部終えた。
それにしても、シーイングは相変わらず良くない。堺の方面は気流が比較的良いようで、
羨ましい限りです。まあ。中途半端な観測時間のためも有るかもしれない。
土星の詳細は掴めません。
