Here's an image of Saturn during Opposition day! I was imaging with my buddy Tomio Akutsu and a friend from Japan Tomiyasu (image at website). Tomiyasu came over to Cebu from Japan just to see the Saturn Opposition here!!
The Seeliger Effect or Opposition Effect is at it's peak The ring is very bright! The disk itself is very pale and there seems to be no spots visible in either the SEB or the STB. Saturn was at the Zenith (about 85 deg at local midnight) when I took this image.
Note the NNTZ white line at the northern edge of Saturn.

衝前日、気象条件は良くないが衝効果を確かめるべく撮影しました。
ステライメージを使って２D画像（輝度）を求めました。
２／４、７（UT)と観測しましたが、今日は衝効果がより一層際だっています。

今年はセブ島の天気が悪く、1月は全く駄目でした。2月にな
り、少し良くなってきました。さて2月9日から13日まで星仲間
で大学からの友人の冨田安明氏が惑星観望にセブ島まで来てく
れました。友人のChristopher Go宅のC-11で天頂に上った土星
（丁度衝でした）を心ゆくまで見て感動したようです。また明
け方の木星も見ましたが、日本より25度近く高く上り、これも
眼視的には良く見えていました。気流の違いをまざまざと、感
じたようです。
