期待して見るとシーイングが悪いのでがっかり。14時12分頃突然乱れが収まるも、その後も再びシーイングが悪化した。14時12分の画像に明瞭な白斑が写った。
白斑はSEBのⅢ=170°付近で、最後の画像にもシーイングが良くないのであまい画像にも関わらず、中央に白斑が認められる。
３月１日の白斑が以前の画像に写っていないか、過去画像を調べてみました。２月２１日の画像にⅢ=170°付近に白斑が見付かったので強調処理してみました。もしも同じ白斑とすると、１０日あまり存在していることになります。ただ、体系Ⅲに対して前進や後退していれば同じ白斑とは断定できませんが。また、STrZにも白斑が見られますがこれも同じものなのでしょうか。この白斑は前進しています。

コメント：ＳＥＢｓに白斑があるように見えるが、もう少し解像度が欲しい。
せめてシーイングが普通であればと思う。

Please find attached the final version of my pre-occultation Saturn from March 2nd 2007. As David Arditti commented in an earlier mail, the visual seeing from the UK's south coast was also rather good last night but the clouds intervened before imaging could begin. Let's hope this is the end of the recent poor quality skies we've been getting.
