2007/04/15 Saturn observations_white spot in STeZ!

CM3: 143.8-157.3 (20:44 UT-21:08 UT)
A definite big white spot located in the South Temperate Zone(STeZ)
appears in the red light images from April 15.The spot was very easy
visible in all of the HC 610nm shots.
I did not capture earlier such a big feature in the STeZ!
The cirumstances were exellent actually(great transparance in
combination with reasonable good seeing)
10in Newton/ATK-1HS-11/R610nm filter)
On April 15 I found a white spot within the South Temperate Zone
of Saturn.One week later on April 22,I found probably the same spot
on a very different longitude.I now have processed all images of
both session with 7 days difference in one movie,see attachment
(featured in negative)

宮古島天体観測所からやっとの初観測画像報告です。
1年半に渡る調整も未だ完全ではなく、口径50センチと宮古島の天候を考えると物足りない画像です。
この日の宮古島は天候が悪く、この画像撮像後、朝まで雲ってしまい木星は撮れませんでした。
透明度も悪く、シーイングは4/10の下程度で、2100枚から目視で347枚を抽出してスタックしました。
そのため粒子も粗く、色ずれなどもありシャープさ解像度共に欠けますが、
夏場になれば8/10以上のシーイングになる日もあると思いますので今後に期待です。
次回は7月に光軸調整、ミラー圧迫、温度管理など大型望遠鏡ならではの最終調整を済ませて
きっと素晴らしい画像報告ができるものと楽しみにしています。
