      Saturn on Christmas Day,my first one this saturn appearance 2008/2009
The northern part is still bluish color quality.
There were no storms or spots on display at this meridian.
Remarkable is the beauty of a very narrow ring now at the minimum. (059")
Because we are still far for the opposition you are on the right side of the shadow seen on the ring.
The Cassini division,you can see lights at the end of the ring,the color of the ring is not bright white but dull gray.
You can create a very weak the ring behind the planet,well concealed in the shadows.
