It was -7 degrees C this morning but the very good seeing made it tolerable!
Some activity in the main belts; the broad northern one (not a true NEB I feel) suggests great complexity but mostly too borderline to depict accurately. Again the p. ansa of the rings seems somewhat the brighter.

Well this morning was the coldest in 10 years time,on several places the temps reaches -18 celcius (lucky not at my place) but cold it was. Tomorrow they are organizing all sort of skatingevents on ponds,rivers and lakes,half the country is skating,a sort of national hobby but enough about that. This was the first time I saw Saturn with its closed rings and what a sight it was. Seeing was fair,this was much more as I hoped for with some hot tin roofs nearby. all the best for 2009
best wishes Jan

CM1= 85°の赤道北あたりに小白斑があるようです。
WinJUPOSで見ると衛星ではないようです。

It's nice to finally be back out amongst it - it's been 2 months since my
last planetary image. I'd almost forgotten how to do it. Seeing was
reasonable but not great,and I had to use 7.5fps to get enough light in!

年明け後、まともに環が撮像できたような感がしております。
