Some interesting detail visible in the NEB this morning. A surprisingly calm
morning after a breezy and largely cloudy night.

The seeing was fair.
The transparency was average.
T = +12°C

Although seeing was fairly poor I have been able to make my first images with the corrected optics of the cassegrain,with its new secondary mirror. The most dramatic difference is the increase of light quantity in the short wavelenghts,probably 2 to 3 times more than previously ! Time exposure for the UV image dropped from 0,5-0,6 to 0,2-0,3 second at same focal lenght,and looks now possible in binning 1x1...
These images are still fair but none the less quite much better than those of 2009 at same apparent diameter.

After purchasing/trading for my AP 180 F./9 EDT I was
anxious to see how it performed. A few nights ago it was superb
visually. This morning I imaged Jupiter with it. See attached FYI.

3週間ぶりに撮影できる雲間を掴めました。
DMK21AF04が不調で、辛うじて1回のみの撮影でした。
30fpsで撮影すると途中でフレーム転送が停止し、
再生不可能なAVIファイルになるのです。
15fps以下の転送レートなら正常です。
またDMK21AF04では、30fpsでも60fpsでも正常です。
そんなことで、バタバタしてDMKでのメタンバンドの
ファーストライトはお預けでした。
