Marc Delcroix (254mm SC)
On the CH4 image, additionally to BA and 2 SSTB ovals,
white spot Z is a bit bright, and a suspect spot on the north polar area which could be an artifact
as it is not seen on 3 other methane images I took, and there are no clear spot corresponding in
other wavelengths images.

Attached is an observation I made on the morning of the 23rd September with Damian Peach. The observation was made with Damian's rather splendid C14,and shows some of the fine structures present on Jupiter's disk at the moment. It seems to me that the SEB is now really rather broad indeed, many different light and dark regions present in the belt and the region seems to be very chaotic indeed. Some lively structure in the NEB too,and a number of darker sections were observed in the NTB and the NNTB.
We had a lot of dew to contend with that night and by 0200UIT,the seeing had dropped off rather and everything was abolutely soaking wet!

The first of a long series of images covering 11 nights during a recent exceptional spell of prolonged good weather.
Very windy conditions but pretty good seeing this night. Oval BA is nicely placed. Note the prominent array of NNTBs jetsream spots.
