Since the storm is the brightest in green
and red I used an orange filter. Further I used a methane filter
(880nm/50nm) with a bandwidth of 50 nm. The storm is also visible at this
wave length.
Seeing was fair.

Here's the results of my mammoth Saturn observation last night. I made three
drawings,all of which show the two main bright spots in the northern
hemisphere. I have to say I thought these two would be easier to see than they
are; I had a little difficulty in making out there boundaries and shape,this
may well be due to the fact that seeing was only average at best,and the planet
does not achieve a high altitude.
The last drawing was made with a blue (#80A) filter- the storms were easier to
see in this light than in normal unfiltered light. Intensity estimates were
made in unfiltered light.

This evening the weather conditions were almost good,only the cold made it difficult filming!
Saturn still shows the beautiful northern hemisphere storm ..... who knows what will happen?
The brightness of the satellite Tethys was raised separately from the rest of the image.
A second image obtained shortly after the one posted last night. Slightly
better conditions allow us to see some more details of the structure of the storm.

Here are some images and an animation from March 8th. Variable seeing throughout,fair at best.
The head of the storm is visible. Perhaps more interestingly a clear spoke like feature rotating in the rings on the right ansa within Ring B. Looks a very similar feature as those reported by Marc and Cristian this evening.

Here are my results from March 08, a night of good seeing at last. Much of the
North Tropical Storm is visible as well as numerous small spots in the dark belt
S of the storm.
