Saturn and Titan under exceptional seeing conditions.

The transparency was average and  the seeing was good for the Paris region ( south of Paris).
T = +9-10°C

シーイングは相変わらず悪いが今夜は北半球の縞帯が、気流が安定した瞬間に少し細かい縞帯が見えてくる。
南極の縞帯も見る事ができた。

Here are two Saturn drawings I made last night.  Seeing was fair to average.
The first drawing was made in IL and the thing that really caught my attention
was the northern edge of the NEB(n) which seemed to have either a fractured
boundary or else looked as though there were bright white spots from the NTropZ
impinging on the edge of the belt.  The NTB also seemed to be composed of darker
and lighter sections.

A-Ring continues to have a light brown tone,the B1-Ring looked a pale yellow,
while the B2-Ring was grey.  The C-Ring seemed to be a little brighter tonight-
perhaps more so on the Proc. side of the ansae.  The rings have closed a little
more and so it was easier to see the SEB and STB.  A definie greenish tint
present in the NTropZ and NTZ.

Filter work:

Collected intensity estimates in #11 and #80A.  In #11,the A and B-Ring looked
brighter,the NEB was fainter.  IJN the #80A,all of the zones were enhanced and
appeared much brighter.  The B-ring too also appeared to be very bright in this
filter.

#25A (Red).  An interesting filter- this seemed to help when the seeing was
poor.  Although it enhanced the belts,it was harder to see any fine details in
this light.

#21 (Orange).  Much the best filter for Saturn- this filter really brings out
the belts and the details within them.

By 0105UT,seeing and definition started to drop away,and so I closed down for
the night.
