I am at my Farm for a long birthday weekend.
Just relaxing and having a nice time.
I got up this morning at 4:15 AM,made coffee and headed to the observatory.
Seeing was OK but improved greatly as dawn approached. A Cool 63 degrees.
Chilly! Here is an image made with my TMB 10" F/9 and Skynyx color camera.

台風16号が北上し、セブはしばらくぶりで晴れた木星画像です。
BAがGRSの北、本体の中心を経過しています。
NEBに見える明るい白雲(プリューム） は対流にちぎられ、東西に伸びています。

毎日気流が悪いと、いつ落ち着いた木星面を見ることができるのでしょう。
SEB内の暗斑とNEB内の白斑が見事です。

Pretty good seeing near dawn for the colour image on this occasion.
Plenty of interesting detail visible.
The EZ colouration is weaker on this hemisphere.
The NNTZ LRS is prominent in the north.

It has been raining here for more than a week now. I had a break this morning.
Seeing was good with Jupiter high up.
The GRS and Oval BA are in conjunction. The red ring of Oval BA is very prominent.
The GRS is still faded but the center of the GRS is dark.
The wake of the GRS is very complex.
Note the dark spot following Oval BA.
Note the bright spiral outbreak in the NEB. The Equatorial Zone has a prominent band.
The NEB looks revived while the NTB is a prominent band. Things seem of have quieted down on the NEB/NTB.

Jupiter in methane absorption band on Sep. 15th 2012 from Pic du Midi

The second image is the best,showing a nice view of oval BA setting and
passing south of GRS.

EZの北半分が明るく、フェストーンがその上に乗っかっているように見えます。
EZ内の着色物質の流れは、メタンで見ると暗く見えます。
