targeting the region of the spot I imaged July 19th.
The seeing was variable and not stable enough to get all 3 channels of hi enough quality to make a colour image showing the spot, however, I did manage to get 3 R channel data sets that do resolve the spot, albeit faintly due to the seeing.
Although I was not able to get it at the CM I was able to image it much closer to the CM than previously so my WinJUPOS measurement of it is likely to be more accurate. I measure it to be at approx CMIII 357.5 Lat 58.
I have attached 3 R channel images with the spot marked, it is faint but nevertheless it is there. The spot becomes quite apparent if you blink the R channels images.
It looks like it will be at least a week before I get better conditions to image it at, hopefully, better resolution.
