Saturn 03.04.2013, normal and exaggerated contrast (crop) shows how rarely manages to capture the Encke division, extreme rings on the handle and the angular shape, strangely hexagonal nut North Pole.
This is the result of two long nights of waiting googd seeig and times (dozens) with Pla Mx + IRpass685nm, mounted at the focus of parabolic Marcon 400mm, 9000mm projected to Eq.
Some figures, the globe of Saturn has a diameter of about 120,000 km (17.9 "), the Cassini division has a thickness of 4700 km (0.7"), the Shortfall Enke, 325 km (0.05 ")!.
