Imaged Saturn very early last night. It is very low for me now and this will be my final data for this apparition. This is the 308th Saturn data set I have uploaded for this apparition to PVOL & ALPO Japan. Of course the seeing was poor with considerable flag waving going on but in amongst it some useable frames. When I was processing I noticed that I have captured the long lived dark oval, it is best seen by dragging the image to & fro across the screen with a mouse. The movement helps to pick it out, it is just slightly toward the F side of the CM.
I have measured it to be at +45.4 L3 287, the data point fits my drift chart nicely.
