Despite clouds causing problems for Jupiter and Mars earlier in the night, skies were clearer for Saturn and again the seeing was close to perfect at times. This time however there are no storms or spots visible. Even with very strong sharpening no spots can be seen (see cropped image.) Interesting to note the different colours of the belts and zones in this straight RGB composite.
Certainly all was very quiet on Saturn on this night. None the less the view visually was wonderful.
