I believe I have again imaged the large bright EZ feature last night, Aug 24th. The feature is still quite large but it is not as bright as on Aug 21st. It is close to the CM in my R channel data set, s2014-08-24_08-45-48_r_tba. I have uploaded all data. Tonight Aug 25th also is looking promising, I have just turned on the peltier cooler on my primary mirror in preparation for tonight's session.
Have a close look at the polar projections of R & RGB data, there seems to be a bright strip of varying width in the EZ along the border with the NEB
I have attached an animation of the R channel data to this message. I have very heavily processed the versions of the images used in the animation. Over the years I have become quite adept at picking out small faint detail and I do see this feature in my normal level of processing but I guess many would struggle with it, hence the heavier versions for the animation.
