Seeing was excellent this evening although transparency was variable.

Finally caught my first image of the GRS this season although it is just peeking out at the edge.
The color of the GRS is very strong! The SEB looks quiet in this region while the NEB is very chaotic.
The STB ghost can be seen and it is a dark streak in Methane band! There are dark barges on the NEB in Methane band! [Christopher Go : Cebu Philippines]

Jim Phillips(503mm Newtonian,254mm Maksutov)
Pretty chilly out this morning. Temp was 28 degrees. Hot coffee was very nice.
Fair-Good seeing.

Trevor Barry(406mm Newtonian)
My first contribution for this apparition although still at rather low alt.
Imaged Jup this morning with my new PGR Grasshopper3 with Sony IMX 252 sensor. Seeing was poor but pleased with the plate scale of this setup.

Under good seeing. Oval BA looking quite pale with an unremarkable yellowish center.
Additionally, a bright spot is visible in the NEB. [Torsten Hansen:Boos Germany]
