Hi all, seeing was good enough to attempt a colour image this morning -
things of note: The GRS is quite dark at present, and has a darker rim
on its southern edge (bottom).
Hi all, here is a Jupiter image from this morning through a methane
filter (889nm +/- 9nm). Capture was 2 mins @ 10fps, bin 2x2.
The GRS is bright due to its high altitude, but the southern rim has a
dark shadow that corresponds to the darker area in the earlier colour image.
There are three high altitude white spots following the GRS that are
bright in CH4, corresponding to the three bright spots seen in the
earlier colour image.

Seeing was very variable this morning. This is probably due to gust.
The Southern Polar red spot can be seen just past the CM. This spot is still bright in CH4 but barely!
Note the dark red barge in the STB. The SEBs shows the wake of the GRS. The NEB is quiet in this region.
Note the White Spot Z setting on the right. The NEB is very wide this year! Note that the reddish material is at the level of the WSZ!
