解説（安達）
　南極を取り巻くフードは、濃さの散らばりが大きくなり、あちこちに濃い雲が発生して
いる。Bruce Macdonald氏の画像にはその様子が非常によく記録されている。南
極点上空には雲がないように見える。Hellasは地肌がそのまま見えruが、若干黄色
くなっており、盆地内ではダストのベールが広がっているように見える。
　北半球ではUmbra(W280,+50)からCydonia(W350,+50)まで、東西に雲
の伸びている様子が記録された。

  In hood surrounding the South Pole, a dark cloud occurs in many
 places. The state is recorded to an image of Mr. Bruce Macdonald
 very well. The geographical south pole sky does not seem to have
 a cloud. Hellas just sees the surface of the Mars. However, it 
becomes slightly yellow, and a veil of the dust seems to open in the
 basin.
The state that the cloud extended to the east and west was recorded
 from Umbra(W280,+50) to Cydonia(W350,+50) in the Northern
 Hemisphere.
