Neptune Image 2017/10/15(UT)

Better seeing on the 15th allowed a slightly sharper IR view of Neptune using the Baader 610nm LP filter.
Despite the very different CM compared to the image of the 12th there is again a possible equatorial bright spot seen at a similar place on the disc.
If this is the same spot as seen on the 12th then the drift rate for this feature calculates at +49/day. A possible second spot also on the equator
is nearer the centre of the disc best seen in the gif animation with a 31min interval
