Another spell of settled conditions gave a fine view of the planet at its 13 deg.
altitude here - my best this apparition so far.. More than a suggestion I caught the Encke Gap.
Possibly also a glimpse of the globe shadow peeking out the other side.
Four days after opposition the rings still looking bright.

Conditions were not the best for Jove earlier in the evening,
but the clouds that bedevilled the Jovian session had gone by the time we started imaging Saturn...unfortunately so also had the seeing! :
(Here is the image - not a very good one but by hard-culling & combining 2 data sets, something reasonable was produced. ;)
