I returned home yesterday from an amazing week at EPSC 2017 in Riga. Latvia. It was a very special experience for me and I met some wonderful people in the planetary community, both amateur and professionals. Suffice to say I am both excited and proud to be part of this wonderful community. On arriving home, I was inspired to try and capture a late apparition view of both Jupiter and Saturn, not least of all because I had learned so much from the Jupiter and Saturn presentations at EPSC 2017. Attached are the RGB and IR images of Saturn from yesterday evening under rather poor conditions.
