Comment by Makoto Adachi
The dust storm spread to a fairly wide range. The east spreads near Meridiani. Between Meridiani and Sinus Margaritifer and near
Aurorae Sinus there is a bright dust storm tip. The western tip of the northern hemisphere reaches near Ganges. The north side of Ganges is
crossed by a dust storm. It seems that the dust storm is progressing on the lowland of the terrain.
The SPC seems to have frills on its surroundings, but it does not appear to be noticeable.

(Comment based on the image from MRO)
The northern part of the dust storm in the east of Eden is moving east. The south side of the occurrence point of the dust storm is
advancing in reverse the course that occurred. When you look at the artist of MRO, you can see that it is still rolling up new sand.
The cloud top of the dust storm near Ismenius Lacus is showing that it is still active and going to the east. The dust storm near Eden
began to move north. The dust storm near Chryse and Xanthe did not show great growth.

Very poor seeing but good enough to show the large regional dust storm in progress across Chryse,
which now completely obscures Margaritifer Sinus/Oxia Palus and a large part of Nilaicus Lacus/Mare Acidalium.

A very hazy looking Mars taken in reasonable seeing conditions showing potential dust storm activity.

Here are 2 images of Mars from June 5th in very poor seeing,
the 665 frames pe second capture rate used being the only way to ellicit any details whatsoever in these conditions...
the dust storm that developed recently now appears to envelope much of the Oxus-Eos-Xanthe-H. Paulus-Ganges-L.
Lacus-Xanthe-Nilokeras-Niliacus-M. Acidalium regions.
Quite naturally the angle of the Sunlight effects the ease of visibility of the dust in these images...
Sending another image from 5th June 2018 -
obviously extremely tired from imaging 3 nights in a row &
surprised to find a data set that was clearly superior to the 2 images I sent yesterday:
so much so that I now send it!
