Clyde Foster氏の画像からは、Marinerisの中に堆積したと思われる白いベルトがよく見える。谷の地形と非常によく一致している。
Christophe Pellier氏はMare Boreumから南に立ち上がる顕著なダストストームを記録している。Solis Lacusを横切る姿は、IRで
様子がよくわかる。
日本からはHellasからMare Cimmerium付近が観測された。盆地はダストストームに覆われている。Bruce Macdonald氏はMare Sirenum
の南に明るいダストストームを記録した。小さなスポット状もダストストームも見えている。画像からは、ダストストームには南北方向の
しわのような起伏が記録されている。Pietro De Gregorio氏はSolis Lacusの位置に晴れ間のできていることが分かる。
From the image of Clyde Foster you can see the white belt that seems to have accumulated in Marineris. It coincides very well
with the topography of the valley. Mr. Christophe Pellier has recorded a remarkable dust storm rising south from Mare Boreum.
The appearance across Solis Lacus is well understood by IR.
From Hellas near Mare Cimmerium was observed from Japan. The basin is covered with a dust storm. Mr. Bruce Macdonald recorded
a bright dust storm south of Mare Sirenum. Small spot shape and dust storm are visible. From the image,the undulations like the wrinkles
in the north - south direction are recorded in the dust storm. Mr. Pietro De Gregorio shows that there is a fine spot in the position of Solis Lacus.

Some nice seeing conditions earlier this morning.
The SPC is showing quite a complex structure.
Dust is still obscuring large portions of this region,particularly to the east(left).
Structure is seen in Vallis Marineris,most notably Capri,and Eos and Ganges Chasmata.
Blue cloud is noted below the SPC at upper right.

快晴の夜でしたが終始風があり気流も乱れて改善しませんでした。

SPCは290°W より東はDustに覆われているようだ。SPCの80°Sには黒い領域があり中心に白くIceCapが見えているか。
隠れていないSPC北縁の60°Sには黒い縁取りが見えその上空に青い雲がかぶっている。
HellasからSyrtisMajorより西側にかけてはDustStormは鎮静化してきているか。
相変わらず谷や窪地にDustが残っているのがMGSのAltitudeデータと比較するとわかる。Eridaniaに小さいが若干明るいDust領域が見える。
シーイングは4/10レベル。コントラストが低いためIR+R/G/Bを作製した。DustStormの間は有用性が高い。

Dust storm appears to involve the eastern portion of Terra Sirenum with waves extending over the South Pole
(Bruce Macdonald : Punta Gorda,Florida USA)
Mars in conditions of good seeing and transparency of the sky,
the dust storm that covered all the surface of the planet does not show well its details,
instead in the infrared where it's possible to see much more.
Solis Lacus the polar cap south and the fogs at the north pole are visible.

曇りの直前に観測した。何とか1枚スケッチを取ったところで曇天となった。
前日大きくは変わらない。
