ＳＰＣの晴れている領域はArgyreの南部とIcariaの南側の2か所のままだ。荒川氏はMridiani付近の観測を行っているが、Meridiniは
普段の姿には見えない。まだ、ダストストームに覆われているようだ。Icariaに明るいダストストームがあることを、今日も
Carmine Gargiulo氏が記録している。
The sunny areas of the SPC remain in two places, the south of Argyre and the south of Icaria. Mr. Arakawa is conducting observations
in the vicinity of Mridiani, but Meridiani does not look like a usual figure. It seems that it is still covered with a dust storm. Today
Mr. Carmine Gargiulo also records that Icaria has a bright dust storm.

全天が雲におおわれていたため、かなりGainをあげて、通常の5倍から10倍の露光を要してしまいました。
そのため、特に最初の２枚はコントラストの弱い画像となってしまいました。
Sabaeus はうっすらと見えてきているものの、Acidalium より東の北半球はまだまだダストにおおわれているようです。

For the first time with my Mars observation I had to use a grey filter to compensate the huge luminosity of the planet.

2枚目は、ゲインを調節しながらの撮像でしたが、気流は少し良かったようです。
左にシルチス、中央にサバ人の湾があるはずですが、黄雲のせいかハッキリしません。
南極冠は割れ目があるようです。北極には雲が白く見えています。

Trying to catch up on a bit of backlog.
Mars image set from 17th July,centred on Tharsis. It still looks to me that there are active dust regions.
I am not sure whether I am correct or not,but I have noticed that active dust storms seem to show,at least to some extent,in the G channel.
I note that the brilliant blue cloud extending off the SPC on the sunlit limb that has been with us for quite a while is now nearly gone.
Does this indicate a reduction in the sublimation rate?

地上の薄く立ち篭める雲 霞かも知れませんが高い位置で流れているようでそれらの流体物が前面に懸かっているので、火星表面の様子はあまり読み取れません。
しかし、Hellas の南西部には黄雲らしきものが有るようです？。北極冠は形成し始めたのでしょうか白く写るようになってきているようですが・・・・・・。
