ＳＰＣの晴れている部分は、今日も前日と同じ位置にあり、それ以外には見られない。
ほぼ全体がダストストームに覆われている。
Electris付近のダストストームは、今日も顕著に見える。Mark Lonsdale氏はHellasの北西部にダストストームの広がりを記録した。
前回観測されたのは7月15日だが、この時と比べると大きく違っている。この3日間のどこかで発生したことが分かる。
Mare Acidarium付近は、今日も暗く見えている。MeridianiとMargaritiferとの間が明るく見える。ダストストームの濃い部分が
変化し、Meridianiが下から見えてきた。この様子は堀内氏の画像でよくわかる。OxiaからNiliacus Lacusにかけて新しく黒くなった
場所が見えている。
Sonka Adrian Bruno氏の観測ではMare Sirenumの北側にダストストームの濃い部分が広がっていることが分かる。
Olympus Monsは今日も黒く目立っている。
The sunny part of the SPC is in the same position as the day before today, and it can not be seen elsewhere. Almost entirely covered with dust storm.
The dust storm in the vicinity of Electris is also remarkable today. Mr. Mark Lonsdale recorded the spread of the dust storm
in the northwestern part of Hellas. The last observation was July 15th, but it is very different from this time. You can see that it happened
somewhere in the last three days.
Near Mare Acidarium, it looks dark today as well. Between Meridiani and Margaritifer Sinus looks bright. The dense part of
the dust storm changed and Meridiani came into view from below. This situation is clearly understood by Mr. Horiuchi's image.
From Oxia to Niliacus Lacus you can see a newly black place.
The observation by Mr. Sonka Adrian Bruno shows that a thick part of the dust storm spreads to the north side of Mare Sirenum.
Olympus Mons is conspicuous black today.

シーイングが良くありませんが観測場所であるべランダ周辺の問題のようです。
ArgyreからMarineris辺りは明るく見える部分が地形図の低地と一致しているように思います。
Meridianiは赤道より南側が薄く見えているようです。

Hi all,some reasonable seeing for a short while this morning.
Here's an image of Mars through a 750nm longpass filter showing
increasing amounts of surface detail as compared to recent weeks
so we might hope that the dust is slowly settling.

南から千切れ雲が足早に流れている空で、雲間狙いの撮影でした。風が強かったけど、何とか撮影できました。
火星面の南半球の模様が薄っすら写っており、Dust Stormが薄らいでいるのかも。

フィルターを替えてみた。IRは685からIR80に、Ｂ画像は W$47＋にIR blockerを重ねた。W47単独では赤外にリークがあるからです。ピークは400nm付近と言われるが、興味深い画像が得られた。
ZWOのB画像ではアキダリア北の北極周辺は暗く模様が写っているが、そのような模様は全く写らない。上空にベール状に漂う白雲らしきものが検出された。
南極のエッジ（南緯７０°付近に飛び出た雲があるようです。これは、GBW47の画像にも写っているのでたぶん間違いないのではと思います。カラー合成画像では青い雲として写っています。

and I will try to get a better image of this side this week..

Obtained some nice results despite shooting through thin,high clouds late last night in so-so seeing.
I think that faint magenta veil on the rgb is a legacy of the conditions where Pat was playing
the gain slider like a musical instrument while the histogram soared or dived as the cloud layer altered in intensity
- this of course when the seeing became better at the end of 2+ hours of imaging! :)
The last iR742nm capture & r-g-b sequence reveals nice detail,
especially pleased with the Argyre Basin region with numerous additional smaller craters in close proximity picked up well:
perhaps we are seeing the dust clearing with (also perhaps) some altered features pro-dust..?

シルティスは、見えないが、サバエウス、アキダリウムなどの模様は、うっすらと見えているようだ。
南極冠の北側の明るい部分は、降雪か？
マリネリス渓谷は、白く見えている。 ダストストームが溜まっているのか？
００時から１時間ほどseeingが、悪化した。

Mars on 18 July,looking down on the Tharsis,Solis Lacus and Valles Marineris regions.
To me,it looks like we are seeing more detail starting to show in the RGB images.
The NP region is incredibly bright and difficult to process.Quite a lot of structure can be seen on the SPC.

地上の薄く立ち篭める雲 霞かも知れませんが高い位置で流れているようでそれらの流体物が前面に懸かっているので、火星表面の様子はあまり読み取れません。
しかし、Hellas の南西部には黄雲らしきものが有るようです？。北極冠は形成し始めたのでしょうか白く写るようになってきているようですが・・・・・・。

Mars with a C14 at Pic du Midi,acquired with Emil Kraaikamp and Manos Kardasis.
Dust storm is visible south of Terra Cimmeria / Terra Sirenum. Olympus Mons and Tharsis volcanoes are setting,
we can distinguish their domes,giving a slight relief effect.
South polar zone is still covered partially with dust,and on the limb a bit north,there is a small cloud.

北極雲の近くはダストストームが吹き払われたと見えて、暗く見えた。Meridianiは見易い位置にありますが、よく分からない状態だった。
気流が良かったので、極冠の様子がそこそこ確認できた。
