Clyde Foster氏の画像では、リムが黄色っぽく写っている。南極周辺や北半球ではダスティーな状態だ。北極地方は広くフードに
覆われている。
In the image of Mr. Clyde Foster,the limb appears yellowish. It is dusty in the Antarctic and Northern Hemisphere.
The Arctic region is widely covered with hood.

シーイングが悪く、撮影始めは多くの雲にも邪魔され、雲が少なくなってからは、シーイングが一層悪化し、撮影を断念しました。
揺らぎが酷く、表面模様は判然としませんが、SPCは時折くっきりと小さく輝いていました。

A bit later than usual due to cloud. I compared an image of this region from 2016,
and it appears that a significant portion of the western side of Syrtis Major has been affected by this years dust storm,
and that,in my opinion,Syrtis Major now appears narrower.
