Under average images, good on short times, but transparent sky. Planet exhibited a yellowish color already at the naked eye.
Means still a certain ratio of a dusty atmosphere remaining confirmed by the Syris Major contrast at the eyepiece rather lowered with data collected at 2,5hours difference.

Attached is a recent observation I made of Mars on 18th October.
The planet is now sufficiently high in the sky so I can now observe it from my observatory at home.
Seeing was rather average but there were some good steady moments and a number of features were present:
・The south polar cap was rather bright.
・Hellas was also bright and a yellowish colour- the effect of recent dust deposits.
・Hellespontus quite dark.
・Mare Tyrrhenum was rather dark, and Syrtis Major still seems a little fainter than usual.
・Much of the prec. limb seemed to be quite bright.
・Pandorae Fretum quite dark,as was Sinus Sabeus.
・Northern limb seemed to be a little brighter- possibly due to the presence of clouds.

Mars has climbed in declination to the point now where I no longer have to remove a fence panel S of me to get onto it!
