Hi all,here are two images of Jupiter from tonight showing a badly
distorted GRS. It seems the process taking place there is increasing
significantly in intensity.


Here is a very rough colour image of Jupiter from this evening,I
thought it was worth sending this out now - I'll likely have an improved
version sometime tomorrow to share after some sleep :-) The GRS appears
very disturbed by the processes going on around it... you can see the
"remnant" of the previous red material that was ejected a couple of days
ago as a strange purple-coloured streak to the left of the GRS,while it
appears that a new and much larger event is building up at lower right.

Also note that the darker "rim" inside the periphery of the GRS,which
has been a normal and constant feature over the last few years,appears
to be missing or obscured around the top of the GRS as seen here.

Hi all,one more image from this morning,please excuse the multiple
emails. This one is the first data I recorded last night using an
IR750nm longpass filter. The GRS is well placed near the centre of the
image and the seeing was quite good at this time

Hi all,last image from this set is a false colour IR-G-B highlighting
the GRS and current disturbance in that area.

I overslept today and totally missed the GRS.  Condition was very good when I took these images.
Note the reddish haze spilling  over the mid-SEB.  THe NEB shows complex rifting.

Hi - a very quick processing of a Jovian image with the GRS prominent from early this morning:
there might well be better captures from later even though the session was cut short by thick fog...
the GRS & surrounds are interesting! ;)

シーイングは良くありませんでしたが、ひと通りのものは見ることができました。
準循環気流の活動で、大赤斑の前端が黒く見えていました。
また、RS bayの左肩もすごく暗くなっていました。
