久しぶりによく晴れてくれましたが、シーイングは今一つでした。

Conditions were only fair.
The Subtropical Jet Stream was strong affecting seeing badly but could produce these two not so good images that cover the peaceful hemisphere of the planet.

Hi all,a break in the poor seeing we've had here recently,last night
conditions improved to the point that I could capture a decent IR750
longpass image. Io and its shadow can be seen in transit,with Oval BA
rising at lower left. Further left from that,right on the limb,is the
start of the bright streamer of material that was pulled from the GRS a
couple of weeks ago.
Io appears blurred due to the merger of images collected over 5 minutes
elapsed time (4 images,each one from a 75s recording),although it's
shadow appears round due to the alignment software (AS!3) incorrectly
seeing that as an an alignment feature. Doesn't seem to have made much
difference to the end result so I've left it alone.

久しぶりで良く晴れましたが、シーイングはダメでした

Image set from quite early yesterday evening. Average/mediocre seeing conditions,
but it is nice to have a session at last at a more civilised hour!
In the CH4 there appears to be a faint remnant of the recent small flake on the SW edge of the GRS.
There may be an irregularity also on the NW edge of the GRS.
It is a pity about the low resolution,
but there is maybe a hint of some diffuse reddish material extending from the NW edge of the GRS to the chimney and beyond,
which is showing as light in the CH4 image.
