シーイングの乱高下が激しく、ちょうど大赤斑が正面になる頃、
あまり見たことのないようなグチャグチャな気流となってしまいました。
大赤斑の出から入りまでです。

途中、何度も雲に妨げられましたが、比較的良いシーイングに恵まれました。

大赤斑前方のSTrBが淡くなっていました。
準循環気流の暗柱もやせています。
RS Bayのリフトの影響でしょうか。

Image set from last night,approx. 9hrs before the anticipated start of the HST imaging run.
Although I captured just under 160Gb of data,there was only a period of a+-15mins  where I had reasonable RGB and IR seeing conditions.
CH4 was a bit more forgiving.
The SEBs ring has entered the GRS hollow and is at about the 2 o’clock position.
I anticipate that it will traverse across the entry to the “chimney” over the next day or so,so HST may have a good view of it.
It looks quite substantial in both IR and RGB,so I am hoping that it will not be significantly disrupted.
There was a very dark spot in the GRS wake of yesterday which was mentioned by Jose Luis Pereira.
I see that it shows as very dark in the CH4 images.
I also noted that the EZ is quite chaotic in the IR.





I had originally rejected this data due to very poor quality B image. However,looking more closely,
I believe that the two STrZ band ovals may be merging as projected by John Rogers.
Hopefully HST will get a good look.

Imaged Jupiter June 25th in very good seeing,have well resolved the jagged edge of the GRS envelope toward the P side,
the chimney is open and structure within the eye of the GRS is resolved. Hi-res detail is seen from limb to limb.
The RGB data is up there with the best I have captured for this apparition.

大赤斑が正面の時刻は曇られてしまいました

雲が多く気流もよくありませんでしたが、時折酷い揺れの奥に細部が見えるような状
況だったので粘って経過を観察しました。すると夜半前に揺れが収まる時間帯があり
気流が改善しました。その時の1セット分をLRGB De-RotationしたものとIR685,CH4を
処理したものです。

雲間からの撮影で時おりブヨブヨにぼやけるような気流でした。

Here are our images from June 25th in very good seeing conditions in the West Wimmera:
GRS almost on the C.M. with associated activity including the prominent southern barge above the 2 white spots still...
we present the image at 120% of capture scale as well as at capture scale,this 2nd image displaying the individual channels as well.
Also to display the changes over the 4 nights that we imaged here in good conditions is a capture scale presentation of the rgb images from each of those 4 nights...
interesting to chronicle the changes over the span from June 20th to June 25th...
adding to this by also including a close-up of the GRS & surrounds from the 3 best nights (20th,22nd & 25th) for further comparisons.

撮像開始時は、透明度は良好でしたが急流の川底を見るようシーイングで今回も苦戦しました。
シーイングは時間経過と共に少し改善傾向にありましたが、3セット目の近赤外画像の撮像前から急激に悪化し、以後の撮像を断念しました。
大赤斑の前方のSTrBがかなり淡化してきた事が確認出来ました。NEBに大赤斑の下方の経度あたりから巨大なリフトが存在している様に見えます。

久しぶりに4枚のスケッチができた。
しかし、残念なことにシーイングは良くなく、詳細は分からない。
地平高度が上がってきたらよくなるかと、期待したがダメだった。
ＧＲＳ湾は暗く、ＧＲＳはその中に埋もれている。そのため
ＣＭＴ観測が非常にやりにくい。とりわけ前端や後端はよく分からない
