薄雲越しでシーイングは良くありません。
ガニメデとその影が目立ちます。
衝を過ぎて位置関係が衝前と逆転しました。

Image set from yesterday evening trying to cover the movement of the latest SEBs ring through the GRS hollow.
If I have my information correct,Hubble Space Telescope was scheduled to be imaging at this time.
What is quite remarkable is the size of the SEBs ring, which is not insignificant compared with the GRS itself and is competing with some of the SSTB ovals.
It also appears to have taken a more circular shape.
I have tried to highlight some detail/structure of the ring in the R image.
The critical period will be over the following 24hrs as the ring attempts to traverse across the mouth of the rift/chimney without being disrupted.
Regarding the CH4 images,and the 1827UT in particular(best data),
I am wary of raising expectations, but the upper right(NE) edge of the GRS appears to be a bit flattened adjacent to the SEBs ring, and there may be a dark rift developing across the NW corner.
Both of these features have been observed with previous flaking events. Further observations over the coming days will be important.

一昨日はピント合わせできないとんでもない悪シーイングで撮影をあきらめました。
今夜はそれよりましなものの木星像全体がゆらめいていましたが記録をしました。
ガニメデが本体を経過中です。

Here is a Jupiter image processed from the raw HST data obtained by Amy Simon and colleagues on June 26th.
The quality is of course exceptional. However achieving an accurate colour balance is challenging
(due to the violet filter used for the B channel) and took some time. Oval BA is nicely visible.
I processed another set from this raw data. This time the GRS is on view with Ganymede and Io alongside the planet.
Moons were processed separately but their positions are exactly correct for the time.
Ganymede was taken from the 0950 data set as it was just slightly out of frame for the 0817 set.

Another night where the weather was more generous than the forecast suggested.
- The southern South Equatorial Belt is very dark.
- Oval BA is rising.
- The faint streak in the South Temperate I noted on an image from June 2 is at the central meridian.
- The South Polar Red Spot is just east of the central meridian.
- Io and Ganymede are approaching transit.

The sky continued to defy an unfavorable forecast, so I hastily captured a near infrared image before it ended.
- A long rift on the North Equatorial Belt is approaching the central meridian.
- The southern South Equatorial Belt is very dark.
- Oval BA is rising.
- The faint streak in the South Temperate I noted on an image from June 2 is at the central meridian.
- The South Polar Red Spot is just east of the CM.

Clouds started to show up after capturing tonight's near infrared image, but I still had enough time to capture a methane image
- A prominent hot spot on the northern edge of the Equatorial Zone is at the central meridian.
- The southern edge of the South Equatorial Belt is dark.
- Oval BA is rising.
- The South Polar Red Spot has passed the central meridian.
