There is quite a bit of activity in the North Polar Region (NPR) and in the North North Temperate Zone (NNTeZ) although it is subdued compared to last year.
A number of storm systems can also be seen in the North Temperate Zone (NTeZ) and the prominent cell that is on the boundary of the Equatorial Zone (EZ)
and the North Equatorial Belt (NEB) can be seen just to the west of the Central Meridian.
