Image set from this morning showing the region preceding the GRS which is rising at lower left. Seeing conditions were poor.
The CH4 (severely processed and stretched) is purely for the record and was captured in bright sky conditions
where the planet was hardly detectable and I had to guess the focus point based on the last IR setting.
I was hoping to get a better look at the GRS region,but bright sky cut me off...

Hi all,some very good seeing this morning on Jupiter,coinciding with a
pass of Juno today and showing the region that it will see on it's
closest approach. Oval BA and other ovals can be seen at lower right,
with quite a lot of rift activity in the NEB.
I've also included an IR image (750nm longpass) and methane absorption
image (889/18 nm).
