Comment by Makoto Adachi

Mr. Clyde Foster's image shows a bright white spot near Argyre (30W, -50). It is very bright in the IR, and it seems that part of
the SPC is visible. The South Pole is black in the image. Consistent with early SPC features. The white spots on the eastern part
of Mare Sirenum (140W ~ 170W, -30) on February 4 are probably the first SPCs to be seen. At the same time, Mr. Paul Maxson
also recorded a white pattern, apparently an SPC. Water ice clouds at low latitudes are also recorded as blue images.

Returning from a 6 day breakaway,I was met with a rather busy Mars this morning (I see it is just over 5" now).
Niliacus Lacus and M Acidalium(below) are at lower centre.
Mare Erythraeum extends across the upper region of the planet with a frosty Argyre I at upper centre.
Nilokeras is to the right of Niliakus Lacus, with Lunae Lacus to its upper right. Aurorae Sinus can be seen.
The Indus extension appears to be prominent. S Meridiani is at centre left. Some scattered clouds can be made out.
