前日、Clyde Foster氏の画像に記録された小さなエッジダストストームは大きくならなかった。前日の様子と大きく変わらないものの、
北半球にも広くダストが覆っている様子が記録されている。模様が濃くなっている部分は、高地になった部分であり、ダストの光学的厚
さの少ない地域に位置している。これは2018年のグローバルダストストームの見られた時と同じになっている。じわじわとグローバル
ダストストームのような状態になりつつあるようにも見える。
Mark Lonsdale氏の画像は、肉眼で見た姿を忠実に再現している。現在の火星の見え方はこのような状態である。現状を示す非常に優秀な
画像である。
The small edge dust storm recorded on Mr. Clyde Foster's image the day before did not grow. Although it is not much different
from the previous day,it is recorded that dust is widely covered in the Northern Hemisphere. The part where the pattern is
dark is the part where the altitude is high,and it is located in the area where the optical thickness of dust is small. This is
the same as it was during the 2018 Global Dust Storm. It seems that the situation is gradually becoming like a global dust storm.
Mark Lonsdale's image faithfully reproduces what he saw with the naked eye. The current appearance of Mars is like this.

As good a time as any to circulate a Mars image set from this morning,
as I am keeping an eye on the Mars 2020 launch countdown on one of my monitors(2mins!).
Watching the various briefings recently,this is one amazing mission. Go Perseverance! Mars awaits you.
The view is similar to yesterday with conditions not quite as good.

≪沖縄県 豊見城市 大田 聡≫
10日ぶりに、晴れて喜んで観測に入ったが、見る見るうちに雲が出てきて、
最後は雲の晴れ間を縫って確認作業をした。しかし、やりきれないうちに曇天
になり、がっくりである。空も当分晴れそうになく、観測打ち切り。
SPCはミッチェル山が周辺減光の中でなんとか確認できた。今までになく見え
づらいのは、ダストが覆っているのかもしれない。SPCの縁から緯度で35°位の
範囲が黄色っぽくベールをかぶったように見えている。おそらくSPCからの
だすとが極付近の気流に流されて拡散している部分だと思われ。
一方、NPフードは明るさが増してきた。(Mare Acidarium;20~45W,+40~55)には
白雲が広がっているが、一部は見えていた。(Aurorae Sinus;53W,-10)の西の
地域は、リムが明るく見える。しかし、それほど明るくなく、通常の姿に戻って
いるように見える。
SPC managed to confirm Mt. Mitchell while the surrounding area was fading.
What's harder to see than ever is the dust covering. The area around 35°
in latitude from the edge of the SPC looks yellowish and veiled.
Probably the dust from the SPC is scattered by the air currents near the poles.Meanwhile,
the brightness of the NP hood has increased. White clouds spread over Mare Acidarium
(20~45W,+40~55),but some were visible. The limb appears bright in the western area of
the Aurorae Sinus (53W,-10). However,it is not so bright and seems to return to its
normal appearance.

The colour image presents a rather dusty appearance,with the SPC somewhat dull in this aspect,
presumably under the influence of the dust. The albedo features only became clear under IR.

昨夜は、夕方は強めの雨で、晴れてないと思っていて、11時頃晴れ間が出てきたので、
木星はあきらめ、朝火星を撮影した昨日と異なりseeingは、まあまあ久々の火星です。
